Instructions for the Riso-Hudson Enneagram Type Indicator (RHETI version 2.5)

 

Before the Test:

  • The Riso-Hudson Enneagram Type Indicator (RHETI v2.5)
    • 144 paired statements
    • Approximately 40 minutes
  • Plan for enough time to finish in one sitting.
    • In order to submit the test, all questions must be answered.
    • Your code remains active until your test has been submitted and scored.

 

During the Test:

 

  • Choose the statement in each pair that better describes your general behavior throughout most of your life.
  • Choose answers based on your actual behavior and reactions, not about reactions that you think you should or would like to have.
  • In some cases, both statements may almost equally be true. Think carefully about which response has been more true of you, most of the time.
  • Try not to “over-analyze” the statements. You will get more accurate results if you answer spontaneously rather than thinking of extreme situations.
  • Remember that there are no “right” or “wrong” answers and that no personality type is better than any other.
  • Try to relax and answer the questions simply and honestly, and to maintain the same frame of mind as you respond to each of the questions.


 

After the Test:

  • If you used an individual test code:
    • Your results will be provided on-screen.
    • A PDF of your results will be emailed to you.
  • If you were given a test code by a test administrator:
    • Your results will be sent to your test administrator.
    • Contact them to receive your results.
